Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Medical Supply
Link to the BCBS Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Medical Supply covered items list to determine whether a specific DME or medical supply prescribed by your physician is a covered item. You must receive prior authorization on all DME purchases.
Michigan BCBS Certified Medical Equipment Supplier Searches
Visit BCBSM website, then click on “Find a Doctor or Hospital” under “Find a Participating Provider” and complete your search criteria including the selection of medical equipment suppliers as the specialty group.
Non-Michigan BCBS Certified Medical Equipment Supplier Searches
Visit the BCBS provider page and complete your search criteria including the selection of medical equipment suppliers as the specialty group under “Find a Doctor or Hospital”.
